Dear Chuck and family, please accept our most sincere sympathy on Muriels passing. We were so happy when we moved closer to you--almost six years ago. It gave us a chance to share more time together, and make some lovely memories. Muriel was an angel of a lady! She adored Chuck Stephen and Scott, and their families--evident whenever she spoke of them or was in their company, by the look on her face. Her family was everything to her--and we were lucky enough to share in that special bond. Muriel always had a smile and something nice to say to everyone she met--and her little giggle was contagious!! She had a wonderful life with Chuck--and you can be sure that she is keeping her eye on him now.xo

On behalf of the Duthie family, I would like to convey how heartbroken we all are on the loss of dear, sweet Mrs. K. She was like our surrogate mom for many years as we shared so many wonderful memories at the cottage and at our annual Christmas Eve celebrations. I always marvelled at how well put together Mrs K was, no matter how rugged the environment we were in. She consistently stayed so calm, and was one of the warmest, most inviting people I have ever known. I have always cherished our shared family times, as they represented some of the easiest, most delightful memories of our childhoods. Many a time I have been at Cobourg beach and thought, if only I had contact information, I could visit with some of my most favourite people...you tell yourself you'll do it next time, and always think there will be a next time. Mr. K, Steve, Scott and all of your families: please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of a lady full of grace, beauty and kindness---she truly was a marvellous woman and we were blessed to share so many wonderful moments with her. xoxo
