I was saddened to read of Mr. Curtis' passing. He was a wonderful person and a good family friend. Growing up just down the road from the family, his big voice would often startle me. However, his words were always encouraging and warm. He and his wife were always generous whether it was cheering on a team sport, supporting a school fundraiser or offering their property for my wedding guests to park. I am thankful to have so many fond memories of my childhood in Cobourg and lucky to have had the Curtis' in my life. Sincerely, Anne Fleming(Langhorne)

Brad Halls - April 6, 2021

To Dwaine and the extended Curtis family: I was saddened to learn today of Ted's death and I extend my sympathies to all his family. During my years living and practising law in Cobourg, I had the great pleasure of knowing Ted and seeing first-hand his many contributions to his community. Often working through the Rotary Club, Ted was frequently front and centre in that organization's many contributions to Cobourg and the wider world. On the musical side of my life, Ted was very supportive and his kind words were always encouraging. He was truly a larger-than-life personality, and I am hopeful that a lifetime of happy memories will comfort all of you in what is surely a difficult time. Brad Halls, Fergus, Ontario (formerly of Cobourg)
