I am so so sorry to hear about Mike. I remember him coming into First Choice and I would cut his hair. He had such a loving soul. He was always full of spirit. He had a smile that melted alot of ladies hearts. I know what you are all going through. There is nothing I can say that will take your pain away. I do promises you this though. Time will ease your pain. Just keep talking about him. All the pranks and jokes he would do and tell. Talk about the fun you all had. Trust me, when it is time for you to go to bed, Mike will come to you in your dreams. God has a plan for all of us. It was Mike's time to go. Again I am so sorry.

We are so saddened to learn of Michael's sudden passing; our family has very fond memories of those many Jr. Cougars years, during which Michael always played an important role - it was a pleasure and honour to watch each of those boys grow from children into young men. They faced their challenges but we really hoped they had rose above them. You can hold onto the hope that Michael is finally free of the demons that possessed him and is in a better place. I was very saddened to learn of Mike's passing. I remember him from the early 2000s when he and his sister Amanda were students at Terry Fox P.S. where I taught Grade 8. Mike was easygoing and friendly. He didn't always love some of the academic stuff but he excelled at sports and other activities when he was away from his desk. I have nothing but fond memories of the Kitchen family at school. Please accept my deepest condolences. B.Buttery.

In recent years, Michael would always stop to chat and show me pictures of his daughter. He was so proud. May you only think of the good memories, as there were many.
