Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Sunday, February 14th, 2021, Betty Louise Brooks (nee Niles) at 91 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Edward Ernest Brooks. Cherished mother of Louise Clement, Pam Bailey (Phil), Debbie St. Charles, the late Paul Brooks (Wanda), and the late Gordon Brooks (Beth). Loving grandmother of many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Jean, Dorothy, and Ruth. Survived by her cousin Claire Frost. A graveside service was held at the Heritage Cemetery of St. Peter. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Columbus Community Centre, 232 Spencer St E, Cobourg on Sunday October 30th from 1 – 3pm. Those wishing may make a donation to Alzheimer Society, ALS or Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Louise, Pam, Debbie and families, our heartfelt sympathy to all of you at this time. Mrs. Brooks was a wonderful, caring lady with a terrific sense of humour and always a favourite of ours. We will miss her visits for tea, her quick wit and the sound of her laughter. It was evident how much she loved and enjoyed her family.
