Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Wednesday February 3rd, 2021 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Annie Madeline B. Gamble (nee Higdon) and the late Lois Gamble. Loving father of Barbara Donovan (Lorne), Beverly Corkery (Martin) and the late Barrie Gamble. Dear grandfather of Erin (Trisha), Brock, Kira, Melissa and Michael and great grandfather of Brianna, Caitlin, Fallyn and Arlo. Brother of the late Bill (the late Jessie) and the late Jack (Grace). Ron will be sadly missed by Madeline’s family her son Kevin A. Rowsell, grandson Kevin M. Rowsell, granddaughter Lori (Jayson), great granddaughter Kylie and great grandson Skyler. He will always be remembered by all his friends at Church on the Hill and Fellowship Baptist Church. Due to Covid restrictions there will be no visiting or service. A celebration of Ronald’s life will take place at a later date. If desired donations may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital or Church on the Hill.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of your Husband, and your Father Barb and Bev and Families. I met Ron probably more than Fifty years ago when they moved to Cobourg to Campbell St.He was a quiet, gentle man, lots of fun, always made you welcome.Barb was my very good Friend always gave me a call when she would fly home to visit.I send my love and deepest sympathy to all of you.

I had the pleasure of working for Ron for many years at the dealership along with Barb and Bev in the parts department. My most sincere condolences to Madeline Barb Bev and your families. You were a great guy Ron may you Rest in Peace.

Jean and I have so many good memories of Ron - he was a friend of everyone in our extended family, I think since 1962 when he started working at the dealership. I have great memories of Ron and his sense of humor at the hunt camp, in the dealership, the cottage, many new car showings, and the Northbrook Hotel! On behalf of the club we extend our condolences.....those of us old enough to remember Ron share some fond memories of those days.... Dear Madeline and Family, I have fond memories of you and Ron volunteering at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, providing food and fellowship. He enjoyed sharing stories of his travels with you. Ron was a devout Christian and he will be sorely missed by his friends at Fellowship Baptist and Church On The Hill. My sincere condolences. Rest In Peace, Ron.
Ron Gamble was a good friend who was very willing to help others. He was a faithful Christian who enjoyed Bible studies and travelling. He and Madeline, his widow, often invited people to their home, where they enjoyed many hours of fellowship. I believe that many will miss Ron's kindness and gentle sense of humour.
