To a wonderful man; who wise liked and admired by a great many people as I know by attending your record breaking GM retirement party. If the world had more people in it like you dad it would be a much kinder, loving place. Thank you for being such a wonderful example in my life. Your loving son David. xoxo

Lynn Salter - January 10, 2021

I am so proud to call Emerson my father-in-law, he was one of the most meek, loving, smart and kind gentleman I have ever met or am bound to ever meet again. They just don't make men like him anymore. The love and respect he had from his family was just a given. The joy he got from his grandchildren and they from him was such a pleasure to see. His unconditional love he had for his loving wife and his own children was unbreakable. He always had a huge smile and funny little gesture for his great grandchildren. I will never forget the very wonderful relationship that we had. I could have never asked for more!! I will see you again my dear, dear man. Sleep now, til we meet again. Love you always Lynn. xoxo

I am so saddened to hear of Emerson's passing. I always loved our visits when he came in to the shop for his haircut. Though I hadn't seen him in quite awhile I thought of him often. Much love to Dorothy and his family as you say goodbye to a dear sweet man.
