Jean was a most kind friend and neighbor during our life in Colbourne, and she continued that for the remainder of her life after our departure. We have many fond memories of her humorous stories and cheery disposition, a treasure trove of knowledge. Everlasting peace special lady (friend), you will be missed.
Jean was a lovely lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
Dear Jean, what a wonderful woman! Jean always reminded me of my mom. Always greeted you with a smile and a twinkle that you knew was genuine! Soft spoken and not a mean bone in her body. Jean was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Jean, you deserve this time in everlasting peace. You will be missed. Condolences to all who held her dear. R.I.P beautiful gentle lady.
I am saddened by her passing. She was such a beautiful woman inside and out. I spent many years with her at the Anglican Church in Colborne praying, lunches and serving Thanksgiving dinners.
With Heartfelt Sympathy on the passing of such a dear sweet lady. Jean always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She will be forever missed and fondly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her. R.I.P.

My sincerest condolences on the death of Jean Kernaghan. Years ago when I worked at J&R Variety, Jean would come in to get her bus ticket to Toronto to work all week and returned on Friday night. She was such a kind, quiet spoken lovely lady. May she RIP as she is reunited with her parents. Sincerely Gail Pearson.
A very lovely earth angel. Our memories of Jean are etched in our hearts.
My deepest condolences to the family .. I have fond memories of Jean growing up .. she was such a kind and gentle soul ... she will be missed ..prayers to the family ...
I'm sending my deepest sympathy to the family off jean kernaghan she was one super lady I worked at Victoria retirement and she always knew my name because she knew I came from Colborne you couldn't have asked for a nicer lady than her again my deepest sympathy to the family
Jean and her family were an important part of my formative years. As a youth I cut the Kernaghan’s lawn and was always treated to refreshments after the job was done. We kept in touch over the years. Her Mom and Dad were instrumental in helping me get my first teaching job at Belleville Collegiate. Her Mom and Dad were so proud of Jean and told lots of stories of how she was doing. When Jean retired and returned home they bought a car (1956 Chevrolet) and expanded their world. The last time I saw Jean was at Victoria retirement home and a trip out to her favourite coffee shop. It is sad to think that she is gone...part of my past now no longer here. Rest well my friend.
Jean did so much for so many, always in a quiet unassuming way. God speed and God bless.
Rip Jean sweet lady .
Dear, sweet Jean. If ever there was a person born who knew no guile, it was you. This world will be much less a good place without you.
Jean was the dearest, sweetest lady you would ever meet. I met her at Trinity Anglican Church where she was devoted to the Church and to the congregation. She will be sadly missed. God has a special place for you, Jean
Sweet and fiesty lady who will finally get to see "What on earth" is going on ❤️
A dear lady, I have known from when I was very young, when Miss Kernaghan and her Mom were in church every Sunday without fail. She had a gentle soul and her kind words will be remembered by many for a very long time
Thinking about the genuine interest Jean took in the lives of so many people through the years, especially children. Such a lovely and quiet life of devotion to others. She blessed many people with her life.
I knew Jean when I worked at a little bakery in Colborne where she was a sweet regular customer. Always with her kind, gentle smile. RIP Jean.
