Karen was born in Ottawa on the 9th of June, 1962. She is survived by her loving mate Patrick Henwood and his mother Bonnie. Karen’s mother Barbara Begg (late David) , her aunt Mariam Ewles (late George Spalding), (late Don), aunt Fran Brown (late Ross) and aunt Mary Sleeman (Gordon), and many cousins. Her closest cousins were George Spalding (Isabelle Castonguay) and Leslie-Anne McIvor (Chris). They spent many holidays together. She was the granddaughter of the late George and Isabel Spalding and the late David and Mary Begg. A family graveside service will be held at Cobourg Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter’s Church or to a charity of your choice.
R.I.P Karen. I just heard that you are no longer with us. One of the most caring people to ever know. Sleep with angels 😇. You will be loved and missed dearly!
Karen you were a very special gal who just happen to be my cuz ! Love you and will miss our chats sweetie you and Barbara Byrnes who was Scott and my mother was a huge fan of yours and adored you she talked fondly of you as did all of your family members , rest easy my dear as you've had a tough go of it the last few yrs and remember your in all our hearts never to be forgotten !
