Peacefully at Golden Plough Lodge on Friday, September 25, 2020 in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Victor Harris. Survived by her daughter Lyn (Bill) Ford, grandson Rob Davis and great granddaughter Jessica Davis. Predeceased by her son Terry Harris. Also survived by granddaughters Lori (Jim) Quigley, and Tara (Chris) Snetsinger and their mother Marjorie (Mike) Sinclair; great grandchildren Jaedyn & Kaylee Quigley, Giorgia & Mason Snetsinger; sister Lindy (late Kal) Hokkinen and sister-in-law Jean (late Ken) Harris. A private family service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, Cobourg with interment following at St. George’s Church Cemetery, Gores Landing. Donations may be made to St. George’s Church, Gores Landing or Golden Plough Lodge.

Lyn and family - Have known your mom since she worked for Dr's Page and Stobie. She was a beautiful lady. My condolences to everyone.
John and I are sad to hear about your moms' passing, Lyn. Jean, from nurse in my doctor's office as a child through a lifetime in Gores Landing and finally at the Plough, she always greeted me with her wonderful smile and a happy word or two. She and Vic will always be remembered fondly.

Dear Lyn, Bill and family. We were sad to see the notice of your Mom's passing Lyn. She was quite the gal, and I will remember her line dancing so well with us 5 years ago! I also hold the memory of seeing her sitting in the lobby at Legion Village reading the newspaper, and seeing her all "dolled up" walking downtown just a few years ago!! So very sorry to hear of the loss or your Mom Jean, she was a Grand Lady. My son's and I worked with her husband Victor, at the Court Office and we all had wonderful times at our gatherings. I was saddened to hear of Jean's passing. Her humour has certainly been missed here at Legion Village since she moved to the Golden Plough. My first memories of Jean were at the offices of Dr. Lloyd and Dr. Leeson. We had many laughs while visiting there.
