I heard about this on the Monday after it happened. Here I am a man that I don't think has cried since he was 11 or 12. I was up all night bawling like a baby for a guy that I've had pretty much no contact with for 18 years. That's how amazing Travis and his family were for me growing up. Travis you were living the EXTREME stunt life just like you always wanted. I remembering you all throughout our teenage years idolizing guys like Travis Pastrana. You kicked up a whole nother gear. Buddy RIP. I still till the day used to talk about how awesome it was to got to the races on the weekend with you an your Dad.

We crossed each other roads when Travis arrived on Siquijor Island to work as a Tandem Instructor with me. We shared the same plane side by side for some time before the global shutdown. We have spent countless nights talking about our lives, our projects, our bikes, and also lots of nonsense things that made us laugh until dawn. We rode bikes around the island, watched sunsets on the beach, we really had great times together. He will surely live in all of us thanks to his true generosity and love he showed us all the time. Met Travis the first time in 2015 in a boogie in Davao, Philippines, he went back a few years after to be one of our TI’s in Cebu, and spent a couple of months in Siquijor before covid. This guy is full of energy, always thinks positive and bunch of laughter every conversation. You will be surely missed my friend, rest in peace Travis, our deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.

Travis was a unique soul in this world. I met travis when we were skydiving in the Philippines. I almost knew instantly that we were going to be close friends simply because of that awesome and positive energy he always brought with him day in and day out. As many has said, his laughter, kindness, humility and positivity was so contagious. He stayed with me for around 6 months and no matter how small or big of an adventure we had, there was never a dull moment with him. Travis served his purpose in this world, he inspired many people like myself to take life less seriously, to smile more and treat people with love and kindness always. I’ve always wanted to live a life with the same passion and energy that he has always had. You’re a true inspiration Travis. Thank you for teaching me so many life lessons through your actions. One day we will soar the skies together again! Rest in peace, brother.

Glenn, Sandra and Trevor. I'm so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Travis from my childhood. I remember him as one of the funniest, most easy going and fearless people I've ever met. When I moved to Castleton part way through Jr. Kindergarten, I was the only kid who didn't know anyone. Travis was the first person to come over and introduce himself and invite me to come over after school to hang out. I'll never forget that about him. He always knew how to make people laugh and feel welcome.

We all send our heart-felt condolences. I (Jahn) have many cherished childhood memories of dirt-biking with Travis on the pipeline trails. I was always amazed by his daring riding skills. Though I was 3 years younger he always treated me like a friend and equal. My bike was far slower and he always made sure I could keep up with the group. I was always grateful for that. My deepest condolences. Travis had an energy and a soul that nobody could escape from. He cared so deeply for people and always left a smile on your face when he was around. From the shenanigans at the DZ, to both of us being out in the bush working and hearing from each other every few days/weeks. I'll never forget the time we were all standing outside the ghetto shooting the breeze. Making fun of each other and having fun. I busted a good joke on you and your dog snuck around behind me as we were all laughing and pissed down my leg! Hahaha. Your laugh filled rooms and it touched everyone. Rest easy brother. Travis was the bright light, the wonderful fun loving person that introduced me to the world of sky diving. He got me over the line to take my first jump and experience something that is so absolutely exhilarating and wonderful. Very different but the adrenaline was akin to the birth of my four children. As a mature (or perhaps) immature 51 year old school principal from a very safe and perhaps boring background,Travis was a breath of kindness, fun and excitement. He was generous with his time and experience. Thank you Travis and rest easy.

My family and I were lucky enough to meet Travis on the island of Bantayan where we live and have a redtaurant. We shared many laughs and funny conversations in MJ Square and again were lucky enough to spend Christmas and New Year in his company and all our friends. Unfortunately we only knew Travis for a short time, but as anyone knows it did not take long to realize he was a great person that lit up the room everytime he entered. This is a devastating loss not only for that family but for all the lives Travis touched on his journey, doing what he loved. Travis, you will be missed by many but always remembered. I had the privilege to work with Travis this year and some in years past - I was complementing him on his skills just last week. How well he interacts with all people and how professional he was with his gear and landings - he certainly made our long days fun with his seemingly endless energy. He shared with me anything he had, his food, drink and things - but mostly - he shred his whole self with me. He was all in with everything he was doing and he made it fun. He has really left a mark on me and will continue.

I didn’t get a chance to meet Travis, but he dated my sister for the past 3 months. The change in her since she met him was incredible and very telling of the kind man that he must have been. My thoughts are with his family during this time.
