I knew Wayne as a child when I grew up new their home just north of Cobourg. More recently, I have many memories of meeting Wayne at Tim Hortons on Division Street during motorcycling season. He always had time to chat and ask how I was doing. I will miss these meetings. Rest In Peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this very difficult time.
So very sorry to hear of your loss. Wayne will be missed dearly
Wayne was a humble, kind man. I always enjoyed meeting him at a coffee shop. He never came forward to say hi, but his eyes gleamed when one acknowledge him. He was always pleased to talk about his bike and what he had recently done to it. He was such a genius with engines. I have many fond memories of playing with Wayne and his siblings. We climbed trees, made forts, played baseball, swam at the creek and canonballed each other. So many laughs as carefree children. I am sure your grief at losing a younger sibling must be brutal. Hopefully the support of family and friends will get you through this. Grieve hard, cry and wail if you need to. By letting your grief out it opens the door for healing. Hopefully someday soon the wonderful memories will bring smiles to your faces instead of tears. So sorry I live too far away to show my respects. Hugs to you all. David Ashcroft.
I am shocked and saddened. Many good memories shall remain with Bill and I to cherish. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
