MESSAGES OF CONDOLENCE / DONATIONS

Phelan Scanlon - August 6, 2020

We always just called him, "Kearney". I knew him when I was about 11 years old and remember him being with us at a Boy Scout camp in Upstate New York in 1972. Whenever I was in Cobourg I saw him downtown. He was always,"Kearney" to me. A very likable man who made a good impression on me when I was a Scout.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Bob. I recall, while working at the town offices, Bob's delightful personality. He was always kind and giggled when he was complimented. After her retired, he would often come into the offices just say hello. You will be missed, Bob.

Bob Kearney was a kind, soft spoken & friendly person. Met him when he was a custodian in Victoria Hall when I worked at the Art Gallery. Would have a catch up conversation whenever we'd meet in the street after he retired. You will be missed Bob! Condolences to his family and friends.

Thoughts & prayers this day for Bob; his family and his friends. I met Mr. Kearney during my time as an elected official in Cobourg, Ontario during the 1990s. In later years, we always shared a ‘good yesteryear story with laughter and a pint ’ at Kelly’s Homelike Inn, Cobourg. Rest In Peace, Good Christian, rest in eternal peace. 🙏🏻 ✝️
