October 17, 1946 - November 21, 2004

MOORE, Elizabeth Lynn (nee Shaver) Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 21, 2004 in her 59th year after a courageous and inspirational cancer journey. Liz was the beloved wife of Richard and loving mother and best friend to daughters Danielle, Melissa and Michelle Kennedy. Daughter of Nellie and the late Wilson Shaver of Cobourg. Dear sister of Beverley Smith of Peterborough, Valerie Vickers (John) of Cobourg and Rena Retallick (Paul) of Peterborough. Liz will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews; Tim, Julie, Brian and Amy Smith, Ian and Adam Vickers and Stephen and Shaun Retallick. Liz spent 38 wonderful years at GF/Kraft, was a life long member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school for over 20 years. Lizzie was special to a very large group of friends; her generous spirit and giving nature touched all who met her. She will be greatly missed for her love and wise counsel. Friends may call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg on Wednesday, November 24 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 25 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 200 King Street West, Cobourg at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at Cobourg Best Western at 3:30 p.m. Special thanks to family practitioners Dr. Hundal and Dr. Lang, NHH Chemotherapy Clinic Dr. Beck and Nurse Brenda Bonner, NHH radiologist Dr. Morocco, KRCC Drs. Pater, Froude, Panjwani and Ellis, and the KRCC Radiology Department. Special thanks to the VON angels Leslie, Andrea, Sandra, Mary, Anne and Melissa. The family would like to thank everyone for their comfort and prayers.
