My grandfather was tough, smart, gave great advice and was my favourite person to do a crossword with (and I will cherish the privilege of being a granddaughter who he would share his crosswords with!). I will always fondly remember discussing books, movies and music, the way I knew he'd be there for me if I needed him, and the special memories of holidays where he and my grandmother opened their home to us all. I love you grandpa, rest in peace.

What a caring, helpful friend over so many years. Also the best bridge partner ever.
Nancy and Family,I would like to send my condolences to the family. Dick and I spent a few hours on the table at the legion, and I had hoped one day that he could share his bridge knowledge with me. I hope to play the sport that the two you loved so much, but my snooker game is going well..I will keep Dick's memory in mind as I pursue snooker around the province.Scott Tuttle

I am sorry to hear of Dick's passing He was a good friend to Richard. I know Richard felt he learned a great deal from Dick about Bridge. He liked having him as a partner at Bridge. Maybe they will meet up in Heaven and have a few games. God bless. Anne
Geri and I are so very saddened to hear the news of Uncle Dick's passing. Uncle Dick and his family were such an important part of my childhood growing up, and I have many fond memories of our time together.
