Peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg with his family by his side on Sunday, September 22, 2019, Rev. Wallace Johnson at 84 years of age. Loving husband of Ellen Johnson (nee Ojala) for 60 years. Devoted Dad of Karen Thompson (Dwight), Kevin Johnson (Kelly), and Kimberly Johnson. Cherished Pappa of Sydney and Olivia. Brother of Shirley Taitinger (Robert) and predeceased by his brothers James (Shirley), Robert (Jean), Eldon (Gloria). A faithful and dedicated Pastor giving lifelong service. A dear friend to many. Visitation to be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. Cobourg on Thursday, September 26 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Church on the Hill (Courthouse Rd. Cobourg) on Friday, September 27 at 11 am. Reception to follow at the Church with interment at Cobourg Union Cemetery.
