Peacefully at Streamway Villa Nursing Home in Cobourg on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, Jerome Calnan at 78 years of age. Beloved husband of Pat Calnan (nee Pontbriand). Loving father of Kim Harvey (Doug) and Chris Calnan (Louise). Cherished grandfather of Gary King (Daphnee), Terry King, Anna Harvey, Cody Calnan, Colin Douglas, and great grandfather of Olivier King. Dear brother of JoAnne Boyle (the late Eugene),the late Patsy Prentice (the late Glen), Sharon Ritchie (Mike), Barbara Rout (Doug), Carolyn Mrakava (the late Frank), Mary Alice “Red” Quigley (Alfred), Pauline Freemantle (Dean), Tom Calnan (Cheryl), David Calnan (Sandy),the late Danny Calnan, Donald Calnan (Cathy). Also missed by numerous nieces and nephews and life long best friend of the late Owen Cooney. Cremation with a Celebration of Life Gathering at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Tuesday, August 6, from 1 to 4 pm. Pat, Kim, Chris ....so sorry for your loss . We had some great times with Pat and Jerome ...I often think about the time we tricked him into buying a fake ticket for a dance to support the boys hockey team ...to get him to his surprise 50 th birthday party !
