Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Friday April 19th, 2019 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Elwood Adams. Loving mother of Barbara Helmer (Wayne) and Judy Lawrence (John). Dear grandmother of Rob (Ashley), Amy (Darren), Andrew, Kelly, Jessica (Paul) and the late Jay and great grandmother of Josh, Tyson, Megan, Carter, Devin, Amber, Kayne and Reece. Pre-deceased by her sister the late Dorothy. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Dear Judy: I just heard of your mom's passing in April. The picture of her illuminates the woman she was. I will always remember our times at bingo, at the house and how contagious her laugh could be. Your family has lost a wonderful lady and she will always remain in the hearts and souls of those she touched. Our sincerest condolences to your family.

Mary was one of a kind. She laughed a lot, she enjoyed people, she was so proud of her family and she will be missed by all of us at Legion Village. I am very sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace. Such a lovely lady.

We have only known Mary a few short months, since Mom moved across the hall at the retirement residence. In that time we have had the tremendous pleasure of becoming acquainted with a very kind and genuine lady, who who would demonstrate care and concern for those around her.
