I am so sorry to hear of David's passing, and would like to offer my sincerest condolences. As one of his 3rd grade students of the early 1990's, I look back on my time in his classes fondly, as his passion and caring always came through every single day. His teaching style had such a positive impact on so many of his students. It saddens me to hear of his passing... May he rest peacefully; my thoughts are with his family and loved ones.

Mr. Randall was my Grade 4 teacher in 1984 at Central Public school in Port Hope. I was eleven years old at the time and I still remember his great sense of humor, his boisterous albeit very loud laugh and his passion for teaching. During my scholastic career, teachers like Mr. Randall were rare and I'm very thankful I had the opportunity to learn from him. My thoughts and prayers are with all members of Mr. Randall's family during this difficult time.SincerelyAdam Carroll
