Peacefully at Springdale Country Manor in her 91th year. Beloved wife of the late Lyle Landymore. Will be sadly missed by her three loving children, Brenda Love (Thomas), Scott (Dorothy) and Mark. Grandmother of Robyn Coles (Mark) and Trisha Love (Greg). Great-Grandmother of Kaleb, Taia and Baby Rowena on the way. Sadly missed by her siblings Merle Carlson and Lola Turpin. Sister-in-law Nadine Grimshaw and many nieces and nephews. Rowena was an active member of St. Peter’s Anglican Church Women’s Group. Special thanks to staff at Springdale Country Manor for the tender care given to Rowena over the years. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 18 at St. Peter’s Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow at 12:00 p.m. at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg. Sorry I am unable to be there for Rowena's service but you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I am remembering the great visits we hadwhen Rowena and her sisters came to Ardoch at Ruth's cottage in the Summer. Rowena was a good friend and thanks to Maurice a great sister-in-law.We will all miss her but we can treasure many great memories.
Rowena was a valued member of the Mary and Martha Group at St.Peter's. . We have missed her since she went to Peterborough and send our sympathy to the family.
