Joanne Quigley Lingard passed unexpectedly at Northumberland Hills Hospital on January 5, 2019. Those that knew her, knew of her small size and large presence. Her love was endless, which she instilled in everyone she knew. Her importance for family was unmatched and constant worry for them was relentless. Her fun sense of humor and love for those around her was unprecedented. She was the heart of her family, with days of coffee-filled conversation, fishing, cleaning and pajama wearing. Most of all, for everyone around her she was a passionate, honest and beautiful person. She is loved and cherished by family and friends. Survived by her husband Rick, daughter Jennifer (Jordan), stepsons Christopher and Skyler (Ashley), nieces Kasia (Everly), nephew Justin, grandchildren Jase and Aaliyah, mother-in-law Gloria and best friend Ellie. Predeceased by parents Doris and Ireland Quigley and brother Steve Quigley. Missed and loved by many others. Special thanks goes to the care-givers in the ICU of NHH. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com. In love we met you, In loving memory we keep you, In our hearts we hold you, To infinity and beyond.

I am so sorry to hear of Joanne's passing. Joanne was my cousin. We were very close as kids and just reconnected on FB. I was shocked to hear this today. I am so sorry the pain you all are going through right now. In time I hope the wonder memories of your wife, mom, grandma will soon bring you a bit of comfort. Joanne was hilarious as a kid. I spent a lot of summers at the cottage and visits. My mom was Marg Quigley (Murney) Ire's sister. Your mom used to scare the shit out of me all the time playing hide & seek.lol She was a great hider but would jump out from no where and get me every time. We spent a lot of time grabbing dew worms together. Sending my love to you all and a safe. gentle journey for Joanne. Love Lisa xoxo

Jen....my deepest sympathy to you and all of your family in the sudden loss of your Mom . Cherish the memories and the knowledge that she loved you unconditionally . Condolences to all of you .
So sorry for your loss, our hearts ache for you and your family.
I am so sorry to hear of Jody’s passing. She was one of the funniest people I knew and had the most amazing (and often self-deprecating) sense of humour. She was also one of the most loving and loyal people I have had the privilege to call my friend and she certainly had the strongest work ethic I have ever seen. We shared many an adventure through our teens and it was probably only dumb luck that kept any of them from turning into mis-adventures. Jenn, your were her greatest achievement and she always expressed amazement that something so lovely and delightful had come from her. Those of us who knew and loved were not surprised at all, but to her, you were a never-ending source of wonder and joy. Rick, we are so happy for the love and happiness she found and shared with you. I am thankful for all Jody did for my Mom when she was still in Cobourg and although we mostly fell out of touch as we got on with the business of being grown-ups, I thought of her often and enjoyed those visits we did have. She was well-loved (as she deserved to be) and will be sorely missed. If there is anything at all I can do to help at this sad time, please let me know. With deepest sympathy, Julie
