Ralph Gordon Earl

September 25, 1949 - December 9, 2018

Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Sunday, December 9th, 2018, Ralph Earl at 69 years of age.  Loving husband of Susan Earl.  Cherished father of Ryan, Holly (Derek Allen), and Christy (Adam Fisk).  Dear grandfather of Carter and Landon.  Brother of Beth Krabbe (John), Sally Hughes (Bill), Dave Earl (Elaine), and the late Rosemary.  Son of Helen and the late Grant Earl.  Dearly loved by his sister-in-law Catherine Mewett and her daughter Emily.  Missed by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, and extended family.   Also missed by Charlie, Leo, and Elsa (Feline friends of the Treat Man).  The things Ralph truly enjoyed in life were his family, soccer, and his backyard critters.  He played, coached, and watched soccer with the World Cup being his favorite time of year.  Ralph waited to make sure his grandson Landon had safely entered the world before he would make his exit.  Visitation will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East in Cobourg on Monday, December 17th from 6 to 9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 18th at 12 noon with visitation for one hour prior to the service from 11am until 12 noon.   A reception in the funeral home reception centre will follow the service.  Interment at Lansdowne Union Cemetery in the Spring.  Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Northumberland Humane Society, the Nature Conservancy of Canada, or an animal charity of choice.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
