In sadness, but with gratitude for his full life, Ken’s family announces his passing on Monday December 10th at NHH. Ken is lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Jean (Brisbin); daughters Wendy (Alan Hynes), Pauline (Roland Couture), Cauline and Karen (Trevor Birney); grandchildren Jennifer, Heidi, Nicole, Christopher, Shannon, Thomas and Heather and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Peter in 1983 and brother’s Vic and Ron. Ken will be missed by his sisters-in-law Jean Harris and June Shearer and by the Brill family. Thanks to Dr. Xi and the nurses of 1A for their extraordinary care. Visitation will be on Thursday December 13th from 6:30-8:00 pm at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg, with a service on Friday, December 14th at 2:00 pm in St. George’s Anglican Church, Gore’s Landing. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ed’s House-Northumberland Hospice Care Centre or St. George’s Cemetery Fund, Gore’s Landing would be appreciated by the family.
