Passed away peacefully on Thursday September 6, 2018 at the age of 88. He was the son of the late Orville and Edna Heydon. He was born in Windsor Ontario and had four brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Pierrette, his son Michael (Karen), grandchildren Paul (Amanda) and Tara (James) and four great Grandchildren ( Heydon, River, Kenzly and Calla). Both he and his wife loved golf and would play as much as they could. They were also snowbirds and would travel to Florida every winter to play golf and enjoy the ocean at Pompano Beach. He helped to expand Coles books and open the Eaton Centre. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
