Died peacefully at his home on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the age of 76. He loved his family very much and is together again with his wife (deceased) Bridget Catherine Williams (nee Kelly). He is survived by his son Mark, daughter-in-law Sarah and his two grandsons, James and Andrew. Fred, who was a Denturist, was a true gentlemen who took pride in his business and truly relished the friends he made during his career. He cared very much for his patients and friends which was reflected in the hundreds of personal notes received from the people he helped. Fred was very proud of his grandchildren James and Andrew. After returning to Toronto from Cobourg 4 years ago, he enjoyed seeing them as much as possible and particularly enjoyed watching them play sports, excel at school and never missed an opportunity to let them know how much he loved them and how proud he was for them being “great boys”. He looked forward to getting regular updates from the extended family in Ireland and England and enjoyed all the laughs with his sisters- and brothers-in-law over the past 50 years. The family would like to thank the teams at the Cobourg Hospital (especially the dialysis unit), Sheppard Dialysis Centre (Toronto), Toronto General Hospital and Mount Sinai for the support over the past 15 years.
