Gladys passed away peacefully at her nursing home in Cobourg, Ontario, Canada. Beloved wife of Sherman, mother of Shane, Dane, Mario and Tania (LaBrooy). Grandmother of Jonathan (Joseph), Richard, Jason, Daniel, Jamie, Sheneika, Joshua, Jonathan (LaBrooy) and Chelsea. Mother-in-law of Sarah, Siromi, Sherene and Jerome. Gladys's greatest gifts to her loved ones were her creativity, humour, compassion and power of prayer. She will be cherished and missed. In keeping with her wishes, her ashes will be interred in the family gravesite in Colombo, Sri Lanka. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12 noon at St. Theresa's Church, Shrine of the Little Flower, 2559 Kingston Road, Scarborough, Ontario.
