Passed away with her family by her side, at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Tuesday October 31, 2017 after a courageous battle with low oxygen levels. Kay was the beloved wife of Louis for the past 55 years. Cherished mother of Karen (Nick), Adrian (Sherry). Special grandma to Braydon (Savannah), Stephanie (Chris), Kyler (Shaye) and Nathaniel. Great Grandma to her precious Atlas. Deeply missed by Louis. She will be sorely missed by Anna Mousseau. Sadly missed by brothers Neil (Anne), Henry (Helen), Ben (Mary). Also sadly missed by Jim and Linda MacDonald. Predeceased by sisters Helen (Corny), Mary (Henry). Brothers Abe (Anne), Bill (Marie), Jake (Susan), Pete (Agnes), John (Helen),Frank (Neta). Fondly remembered by all her nephews and neices, also Audrey, Paul and Kathy, Milt and Arlene, Tony and Paulene, Betsy, and Delia, and all her many coffee friends at MacDonalds. A chapel service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St. E, Cobourg on Saturday November 11, 2017 at 1 p.m. We would like to give a special thank-you to Dr's, Handa and Wijeyesingh; plus the tireless nurses in Northumberland Hills Hospital Restorative Care, ICU and Palliative Care, who provided superlative nursing to Kay.
