Peacefully at his home in Cobourg on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017, Garth Holloway at 68 years of age. Loving husband of Maureen Holloway (nee Dowling). Dear father of Claire Wadhwani (Ameet) and Kate Jun (Edward). Cherished grandfather of Vedyn, Kian, Talun, Andrea, and Daniel. Brother of John Edward Holloway (Nancy). Garth was a retired teacher with more than 20 years at Earl Haig Collegiate in Toronto. He was the long-time treasurer for the Northumberland Players and for Community Power Northumberland. He will be missed by his many family, friends and associates. Memorial Visitation will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E in Cobourg on Thursday evening, May 4th, from 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 7th at 2pm with visiting one hour prior to the service and a reception to follow in the funeral home reception centre.
