Peacefully at her home on Saturday January 7th, 2017 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Austin “Tex” Ainsworth. Loving mother of Sharon, Rion, Ivan (Shirley), Rona (Rick), Doug (Cathy), Charlie (Patti), Mary, Teresa (John), Jack (Bonnie), Eric (Sheila) and Mike (Kim). Beloved nanny of 112 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marie is predeceased by her siblings, Leo Carter, Russell Carter, Sadie Walton, Ruth Woodcock and Pauline Seymour. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 11 King St., W., Colborne on Thursday January 12th from 12-2 pm., followed by a funeral service at 2 pm.
