Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016, Gordie Ure at 50 years of age. Cherished partner and best friend of Neidra Harris and her son Kevin (Kansas) and her grand-daughter Ayla. Loving son of Perry Ure and the late Carol. Dear brother of Gary Ure (Fleur), and Kellie Riley (Brett). Former brother-in-law of Colleen. Beloved uncle of Corinne (Brendon), Katie, Samantha (Greg), Tommy (Amanda). Also missed by his great niece and nephews. Connected again with his four legged friend and companion Hunter. Gordie was a lover of fishing, of birds and animals and of all wild life in general. It was this love that led him to his business of Wild Life Solutions that he owned and operated in the Northumberland area. Gordie will be cremated with a graveside service being held at the Heritage Cemetery of St. Peter in Cobourg on Saturday, September 17th at 11 am with a Celebration of Life Reception to follow at the Columbus Community Centre, 232 Spencer St. E. Cobourg. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Kingston General Hospital.
