CURTIS; Sarah Gertrude at the Extendicare Nursing Home, Cobourg on Saturday, June 12, 2004. Gertrude Curtis (nee Knox), in her 94th year , was the beloved wife of the late Carl Melville Curtis and the late Burton Cleland Roberts. Dear mother of Marian Bull and her husband John of Garden Hill, Kathryn Ferguson and her friend Harold Greaves of Cobourg, Dr. Linda Roberts and her husband Dan Williams of Atlanta, Georgia and Suzanne Provost and her husband Ray of Cobourg. Stepmother of Allan Curtis ( Melva), Keith Curtis (Lydia), Lorraine Lathrope (Gerry), Carolyn McKnight (Wayne) and Barbara Ackison (Ted), also Bernice Hannah and Glen Curtis predeceased. Mother in law of Russ Ferguson predeceased. Grandmother of Brad Bull (Nicki), Julie Smith (Wayne), Michele Ferguson, Kerry Ferguson (Robyn), Mark Provost (Barb), Ryan Provost (Monica) and Rachel Provost (Ron). Also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Sister of Margaret Dallas and Ruth Workman, both predeceased. Sister in law of Lynn Workman of Santa Clara, California. A funeral service will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, Cobourg on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 1 p.m. Interment Centenary Cemetery.
