Larry died peacefully on July 21, 2016, his 64th birthday. Left to mourn are his wife Susan (nee Thompson), his daughter Meghan (Bryce Hall) and his newly born granddaughter Madison. Also saddened by his death are his sister Linda (Ernie), his niece Lindsay (Darryl) and grand nephew Jack; his in-laws Gwenyth, Liz (Doug) and Bill (Sandra) and nieces and nephews Andrew (Alanna) and daughter Emma, Leslie (James) and children Edmund and Annika, and Janice (Alex). A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at Cobourg Lions Community Centre 157 Elgin St. E., Cobourg on Friday July 29, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. If desired in memoriam donations may be made to the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre, which provided Larry with valuable support during his 35 year journey with Type 1 Diabetes.
