Susan Elizabeth West Butler

Born in Cobourg, Ontario, Sue passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at University Hospital, London Ontario after a courageous battle with ALS. Beloved wife of Ken Butler. Loving mother of Luke Butler. Cherished daughter of the late Neil West and late Audrey West (Cochrane). Devoted sister of Kim Adamson, Vancouver and aunt to Marla Penner (Scott), Lauren Sammarco (Mark) and Lana Adamson. Daughter-in-law to Bill Butler and the late Ruth Butler. Sister-in-law to Cheryl Koteles and Jim (Erin) Butler. Always known for her love for life and laughter Sue will be dearly missed by a large extended family, many friends near and far and co-workers, all of whom have been of great support to her during her illness. A celebration of Sue's life has taken place. A graveside service shall take place for family and close friends on Sunday, July 31 at 2 p.m. at Lent's Cemetery, Precious Corners.  After being diagnosed Sue became a dedicated advocate and fearless fundraiser for the annual ALS Walk.
