(Dedicated long time arena manager and employee of Cramahe Township) Peacefully at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday April 2nd, 2016 in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Margaret Chapman (nee Conquergood). Loving father of Joe (Julie), Kyle and Carlea. Cherished grandfather of Cassie and Gracen. Beloved son of Grace and the late Carl Chapman. Dear brother of Marlene (Bob), Lorraine (John), Roy (Eva), Dan, Brenda (John), Shelley (Ted), Scott (Patrick) and Tracey (Eric). Fondly remembered by his in-laws Helen (Raymond), Duncan (Chris), Frances, Cara (Wayne) and the late Charlie (Sandy). Doug will be missed by his aunts and uncles, cousins, and many nieces and nephews and his good friends Nina and Basil and Chris and Andy. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 11 King St., W., Colborne on Friday April 8th from 4-8 pm. A memorial service will be held in Colborne United Church on Saturday April 9th , 2016 at 11 am.
