Passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Monday March 14, 2016 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Eva Marion (nee Hope). Loving father of Phyllis Green (Paul), Joe Ferguson (Cindy), Brenda Scott (Mark), Debbie Flexon, Shirley Walsh, Ken Trolley (Gayle), Vic Trolley (Muriel), Barb Mann (Allen), Stan Trolley, Gladys Perrin (Dennis) and Marion Samons (Murray). Proud grandfather of 26 and great grandfather of 41. Son of the late Lawrence and Hazel Ferguson. Brother of Marie Davis (Gord) and the late Howard Ferguson (Rosemarie). Red will be missed by his dog Buddy. Friends will be received at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Friday March 18, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday March 19, 2016 from 12 to 1 pm. A service will take place in the chapel on Saturday March 19, 2016 at 1 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, MS Society or the Diabetes Association.
