Timothy William Scanlon

Suddenly at his home in Cobourg on Saturday, October 17th, 2015,  at 55 years of age.  Loving husband and father to wife Julie (nee Nyran), son Andrew and daughters Victoria, Rachel and Gillian.  Beloved son of Gerald and Jeanette Scanlon.  Dear son-in-law to Henry and June Nyran.  Survived by his siblings Mike, Diane and Brett, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Also missed by his countless friends and work associates.  Tim lived life to the fullest. He started his own company, Scantex, in 1992, watching it grow over the years.  He fulfilled his lifelong dream of cycling across Canada in 2010. As a gardener, he always shared his knowledge and produce with friends and family.  He was a dear friend, always willing to lend a hand and share a laugh.   Cremation with Celebration to be announced at a later date.  Those wishing may make a memorial donation to a charity of choice.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
