Douglas Murray Sisler

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto on Sunday October 11th, 2015 in his 66th year.  Beloved spouse of Tracy Gifford.  Loving father of Brad (Ali) and Paul (Amanda).  Dear grandfather of Curtis and Kaedri.  Lovingly remembered by his brother Bob Sisler (Jeanette) and pre-deceased by his sister Marilyn.  Doug was a loving son-in-law to Joy Gifford (Al), brother-in-law to Byron (Pauline) and Steven (Helen), uncle to Jamie, Terin, Ryan (Joanne), Greg (Stephanie), Holly (Curtis), Brad (Frankie) and Courtney and great uncle to Hayden, James, Tenley and Noah .  Doug will also be remembered by Arlene Sisler and the Ford family.  Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E., Cobourg on Sunday October 18th from 11 am – 1 pm., followed by a memorial service at 1 pm.  If desired donations may be made to the Shelter of Hope or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com “A most kind and gentle man.
