Eileen Mary Lillian Theresa (Terry) Haddon (née George); born 29th of September 1923 and died 28th of June 2014. Raised in London, England, Terry came as a war bride to Canada on the Queen Mary with her eldest child, Lynda. Dayle, Darilyn and James were born in Canada. Aided by her many talents and indubitable energy and sense of industry, Terry sewed for extra money, cooked sumptuous meals and helped support her family by working for decades in the administration of paediatric practices and a busy after-hours clinic. Indeed, she worked into her late 80’s despite failing mobility and health. With the television turned invariably to sports and with a fully equipped sewing and doll making room in constant use, Terry’s creativity, commitment and productivity marked her life.
