Renee Leigh Adams

February 6, 1946 - April 23, 2015

Renee (Leigh) Adams of Consecon, Ontario born February 06, 1946, daughter of Walter and Anne Adams and beloved spouse of John Siemens passed away peacefully on April 23, 2015.  Mother to Lorelei Goody (deceased 2009) of Cobourg and Angela Sawula of Toronto and Nannie to five grand children:  Collin, Kate, and Gillian (Lorelei's children) and Vanessa and Nicky (Angela's children). She is survived by her brother John MacKenzie (Gwen) in Naniamo, B.C. Renee's extended family, Karen, Kelly and her late husband Doug, Jason and Christie, and Justin and Kimmy brought great delight to her, particularly their offspring, Derek and Carter and her great granddaughter Morgan (Derek's daughter). Her other extended family is Jim and Kelly Goody (nee Usher) and her children Brad and Bailey. Kelly became very near and dear to Renee’s heart and she wanted to bestow a special recognition to Kelly for her genuine support and concern. Renee very much enjoyed her relationship with a host of reunited friends from her childhood in Salford UK, now splattered all over the globe, who generated regular contact (facebook) within their circle. Renee was most appreciative of her support group in Cobourg and their continuing friendship which emanated from the passing of her daughter Lorelei. Special thanks to Ella, Norma, Trish, Paul and John Saynor (retired priest of the Anglican Toronto Diocese). Foremost and very much loved for their genuine support over Renee's entire life were Lynda Oliver of Cobourg, Lynda Elliot of Oshawa and Carol Molenar of Cobourg. She was also thankful for the friendship and support from all the good friends and neighbours on Edward Drive. She was genuinely appreciative of the kindness and encouragement from Nancy Crawford and all the friends in the Consecon area.  At Renee's request cremation took place and her ashes will be scattered in accordance with her wishes. A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, June 6th, 2015 from 1-4pm with tributes at 2pm at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E, Cobourg.  Renee was an avid animal lover and in lieu of flowers it would be appreciated that donations be made to the Loyalist Humane Society in Prince Edward County at www.loyalisthumanesociety.com.   Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
