The Hon. Christine Susan Stewart, P.C. (Former MP Northumberland – Cabinet Minister – Federal Liberal Party) (Co-Founding Director of Horizons of Friendship – Board of Directors Northumberland Hills Hospital) Peacefully in Cobourg on Saturday, April 25th, 2015, Christine Stewart (nee Leishman) at 74 years of age. Beloved wife of the late David G. I. Stewart, Q.C. Cherished mother of Douglas Stewart (Yolande Bélanger), John Stewart (Camille), and Catherine Stewart (Patrick Wittmann). Loving grandmother of Goldwin, Meredith, Maxwell, David, Juliette, Thomas, Alexander, Jack, and Samuel. Dear sister of Rory Leishman (Caroline), Peter Leishman (Sandra), and Colin Leishman. There will be a private family service at MacCoubrey Funeral Home in Cobourg followed by a celebration of her life for family and friends at Westben Arts Festival Theatre (6698 County Road 30 North, Campbellford - www.Westben.ca) on Saturday, May 23rd, from 1 to 4 pm.
