Cherished and loving Husband of Connie (Fulford). Loving and caring Father Of Jonathan (Shannon), Adam (Jessica), Caroline (Corbin) and Andrew (Veronica). Proud Grandpa (Grumpa) of Brandi, Alanis, Tristan, Damien, Lilly, Noah, Logan, Katherine, Jayden; Kaidyn, Lorelei, Aidien, Connor, Elise, Alexis, Teigan and Autumn. Predeceased by Father Thomas Taylor Bowie, Mother Isabella Latto (Bell) and Sister Helen Rae (Bowie). Survived by Brother David Bowie (Carol), Peter Bowie (Maize), Sister Margaret Beckman (Bowie). Loved and remembered by Mom and Dad Patricia and Dawn Fulford. Fondly remembered by many Nieces and Nephews. Alan lived his life as full as anyone ever has and hardly a complaint. His work with the 116 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps "Skeena". He was an EMS for Hallowell, Metro Ambulance and Bruce County EMS Services, St. Edmunds Volunteer Fire Fighter, Dr. George Harpur in his work with the Hyperbaric Chamber, Working with the Tobermory Theatrical Group, The Capitol Threatre in Port Hope, Driver for Abby's Cab and Starlight Limousine, Dispatcher and Driver for TJ's Towing. A special thanks to Dr. Wheatcroft (Alan's special nickname for him Dr. NPO) and Dr. Leonard Tse and his team at the Toronto General Hospital for giving us another 4 years with such a special man, and to Dr. Stratford and the ICU Team at the Northumberland Hills Hospital Cobourg, Ontario. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy, Autism Ontario, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or to your favourite charity. A Celebration of Life will be held at the 116 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps "Skeena", 17 Mill St., Port Hope, ON on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 2 pm.
