Carol Macklin

It is with heavy hearts, that we announce Mike’s peaceful passing on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the age of 93.  She led a happy and productive life focused on her loving and grateful family.  Mike was the beloved wife of Jack Burkart (deceased 1968), Harold Macklin (deceased 2013).  Loving mother of Denise, Debbie (Jim), Kelly (Ken), Michael (Teresa), Nancy (Chris) and Scott (Sandy).  Mike was the proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She will also be missed by Hugh and Sharon Macklin, Jennifer and Terry Joyce and their families.  Mike’s love of her pets, her long summer hours spent gardening and her fun loving spirit will always be remembered by her family and friends.  Friends will be received at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Friday January 23, 2015 from 10 to 11 am with a service to follow in the chapel.  Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
