April 27, 1923 - May 15, 2014

Veteran of WWII RCE Masonic Lodge 17 Royal Canadian Legion Br. 133 Peacefully at his home in Cobourg at the age of 91.  Beloved husband for 68 years to Marie.  Loving father of Terry, Alan (Nancy), Joanne Basinger (Rob) and Brad.  Proud grandfather of Paul (Julie), Patrick (Jess), Scott (Jen), Todd (Katie), Amber (Damien), Brittany (Pete), Danielle (Kelsey), Brady, Brendan, Brianna, Brylie and great grandfather of Briah, Ryland, Paisley and Braeden.  One of a family of 10, he is survived by 2 sisters, Edith (the late Louie) and Lydia (Jack) and his sister-in-law Eby (the late Jack).  Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Always an avid Cobourg Cougars fan.  Friends are invited to join family in celebrating Lawrence’s life at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St. E.
