Elsie Emma McCracken

Peacefully at Extendicare Cobourg on Sunday May 4th, 2014 in her 103rdyear.  Beloved wife of the late Almonte McCracken.  Loving mother of William McCracken (Marie), Eric McCracken (Joy), Royce McCracken (Joan) and the late Doreen Sparrow.  Dear grandmother of Eleanor Atkinson (Bill), Ken McCracken (Bonnie), Brian McCracken (Brenda), Gayle Booth (Joe), Doug McCracken (Joe), Jane McCracken (Jeff), Greg Sparrow (Nancy) and the late Peter Sparrow.  Great grandmother of Lloyd (Nikki), Stephanie, Ryan (Dana), Jillian (Steve), Nicolaas (Christy), Saskia (Eru), Mac, Christopher, Mitchell and the late Caitlin and great great grandmother of Anahira.  Elsie is pre-deceased by her daughter-in-law Janet McCracken, her son-in-law David Sparrow her brothers Cecil, Arnold and William and her sisters Ella, Lavina, Hazel and Edith.  Fondly remembered by her special friends Bill and Janet McCracken.  Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 11 King St., W., Colborne on Thursday May 8th, 2014 from 1-2 pm., followed by a funeral service at 2 pm.  Interment in Colborne East Cemetery.  If desired donations may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation, M.S.
