Gary Scott Oldfield

Passed away at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Saturday, February 15th, 2014.  Gary was born on December 3rd, 1950 in Cobourg, Ontario.  Survived by his loving wife Rosie, his mother Audrey Warren, his stepmother Shirley Oldfield, his children Devan (Anna), Amanda (Drew), Stacey (Leo), and Jessica (Ash).  Predeceased by his father Don Oldfield.  Loved by his siblings Cookie, Donnie, Brent, Rod, Gord, and the late Todd.  Gary built his career in the newspaper industry but his love was spending time in the bush, hunting and fishing.  No fish was safe while he had a fly rod in his hand.  A Memorial Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Saturday, February 22nd, at 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation to a charity of choice.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
