William John Thompson

Thompson, William John – Peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, in his 86th year.  Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Cameron) and the late Lorraine (nee Vodden).  Loving father of Nancy and Bruce Walkom, Cathy and Fred Cowin, Karen Eno, and Beth and Keith Hamilton.  Dear grandfather of Paul, Erin and Kate Walkom, Julianne, Tim and Christine Cowin, Brandon and Cameron Eno, and Meagan and Nicole Hamilton.  Cherished great-grandfather of Alora Dawn and Molly.  Brother of Doris and Harold McKay, Barbara and Hector Gifford and the late Bob and Marjorie.  A private interment will be held at Cobourg Union Cemetery.  Friends will be received in the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Center, 30 King St. E., Cobourg, on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 2-4 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northumberland Hills Hospital – Equipment Fund would be appreciated.
