Peacefully in her 97th year, at Community Nursing Home in Port Hope, on Thursday October 3, 2013. Now joined with her late husband Walter “Keith” Beattie (2003). Marie will be dearly missed by her children Richard (Kristie) and Bonnie (Vincent) and her grandchildren Jason, Amber (Trevor) and Ryan (Nik). Sister of the late Dr. Merle (Candy) Trewin and the late Verne (the late Gretta) Trewin. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Cremation with a private family service to take place. Sincere thanks to the staff at Community Nursing Home for the kind and compassionate care given to Marie during the 3 years she called Community home.
