Jacqueline Yvonne Hick

Dearly loved wife of Michael for 53 years, cherished mother of Dr. Anthony Hick and Pik Sai Kwan of Sudbury, and Dr. Katherine Hick of Toronto, proud and adoring grandmother of Michelle, Sara, Zac, John and Matilda who have brought her great joy and much laughter.  Jackie will be missed by her extended and loving family and by many friends, here in Canada and the U.K., Australia and the United States.  At Jackie’s request there will be a private funeral.  Her caring family, neighbours and friends who have been a constant source of support and comfort, are warmly invited to share in a celebration of Jackie’s life at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, Reception Centre, 30 King St., East, Cobourg, on Saturday September 7, from 1-4 pm.  Remembrances to be shared at 2 o’clock.  The family’s gratitude goes to Dr. David Moorsom and Dr. Orit Freedman, and to all the skilled and compassionate doctors and nursing staff who have cared for Jackie during her illness.  In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice, would be most appreciated.  Condolences may be sent to www.MacCoubrey.com.
