Curtis Frederick Crow

August 3, 1957 - July 13, 2013

Curtis Fredrick Crow, better known as “Crowman” or “Silver Fox” was called home to be with the Creator on July 13, 2013. Curtis was born in Akron, OH to parents Neil and Rose on August 3, 1957. Though he was born and raised in Akron, Curtis had spent the last few years residing in Ontario, Canada and was a proud and active member of the Alderville First Nation band. “Crowman” is survived by a large family, including his son, Sean Crowe and his daughters, Amber and Tawny Crowe. A grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin to many and a friend to even more, Curtis will be greatly missed by every life he has touched, here and on his reservation. Undoubtedly, his activism in the Native community, his legacy, and his free spirit will continue to live on. A memorial service will be held for those that knew him at The Tudor House, 655 Latham Ln. Akron, OH 44319 on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 6-8 p.m.  Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
