While out enjoying what he loved doing, an evening ride on his motorcycle, as the result of an accident Murray was called home on Monday June 17th, 2013 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Gloria Elliott for over 25 years. Loving and devoted father to James Elliott (Cherrideth) and Kelly Anne Elliott. Stepfather to Lisa Anne Pollard, Jennifer Johnson (Andrew) and Andrea Pollard (Charles). Dear grandfather to Noelia, Zackary, Joshua and Emma. Step-grandfather to Jacob, Danielle, Anthony, Nicholas, Jessica and Lucas and step-great grandfather of Nicole. Lovingly remembered by his brother Fred (Gail). Former owner of Elliott Electric Motors and 10 year employee of General Motors. Murray had a great passion for hockey, the Toronto Maple Leafs, aviation, wood working and sweet treats. He was an avid nature and animal lover. Murray was a strong Christian who humbly took refuge in his faith. Visitation will be held on Friday June 21st at the Fellowship Baptist Church (469 Elgin St., Cobourg) from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Fellowship Baptist Church on Saturday June 22nd at 1 pm. Interment in Camborne.
