Peacefully in his 85th year, at Northumberland Hills Hospital, on Wednesday June 5, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Maria Adriana van der Heyden (nee Gubbels), and special friend of 15 years to Anne Redegeld. Loving father of Rose-Marien (Nik), Servaas (Debra), Hubert (Yvonne), Willy (Pat), Jozef, Maria (Barry), and Lena. Dearly missed by his 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Cherished brother of the late Jan, the late Mien, the late Dien, Fritz, the late Arnold, Servaas, Bernard, Frieda, Antoon, and Andre. Visitation will take place at MacCoubrey Funeral Home (30 King St. E., Cobourg) on Sunday June 9, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin MaryCatholic Church in Grafton, on Monday June 10, 2013 at 11 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Grafton. Donations may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation or St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
